Meenal Makhija, is a practicing Clinical and Forensic with a professional experience for more than 7 years all over Mumbai.
She has done her Masters in Clinical Psychology, Diploma in Forensic Sciences, Post- Graduate Diploma in Forensic Psychology and is currently in the process of finalizing her PhD in Forensic Psychology. She holds a Certification in ‘The LSI Basic and Advance Course of Scientific Content Analysis. She has also had her training in ‘Maritime Piracy Humanitarian Response Program’.
She has been working as clinical psychologist in renowned health institutes, hospitals and rehabilitation centres, has had experience of working as a school psychologist in eminent schools, and has been involved in corporate assessment and training at various levels. Her area of interest is the application of Clinical & Forensic Psychology in everyday life and how the same could benefit the population at large.
Some of her eminent achievements would be her execution of a project involving assessing 5000 children on an IQ Test. She was on the expert panel for a TV Show called ‘Shaitaan – A Criminal Mind’ helping in portraying the actual state of mind of criminals and victims. She also had the opportunity to be on the expert panel for a shipping company during a hijack situation. She created a custom program for gifted students for schools which was then implemented with the help of several other psychologists. As part of her research study she conducted an analysis of children living in the Remand Home in Dongri. She has been involved in various aptitude testing programs in different schools.
